Docs/Right sidebar/Outline
Outline
The Outline panel is a map of the note you're reading. It lists every heading as an indented tree, so you can take in the shape of a long note at a glance, and click any heading to jump straight to that section.
The outline updates itself as you write — add, rename, or remove a heading and the tree keeps up automatically. Deeper headings are tucked under the higher-level ones above them, mirroring the way you've organized the note.
Collapse and expand
Any heading that has subheadings shows a small triangle. Click it to fold that section away, or use the buttons above the tree to collapse or expand everything at once — handy for zooming out on a big note.
Filter
Start typing in the search field above the tree to narrow the outline to headings that match. Matches stay visible even if they sit inside a folded section.
Jump to a section
Click a heading and the note scrolls to it, dropping your cursor at the start of that line so you can begin editing right away.
