AI-assisted refactors

You can ask the assistant to rename, move, reorganize, or delete notes for you. As everywhere else in Minerva, it only proposes a plan — you review it, and nothing changes until you approve.

Single rename or move

Ask to rename or move one note, and you get a review card that shows exactly what will change: a before-and-after view of every note whose links point to it, plus an Approve button. Nothing is touched until you click it.

Reorganizing several notes at once

Ask for a set of moves and renames together, and the review card lists each one with its own checkbox, so you can approve just the parts you like rather than the whole plan. Open any item to see how that note's links will be rewritten. If two notes would trade places in a way that can't be untangled, the card tells you so and suggests splitting them up.

The review card lists each proposed rename and move with a checkbox. One item is opened to show how the links pointing at that note will be updated.

Deleting in bulk

Deletion works the same way, with a checkbox for each note. For every note you're about to remove, the card tells you how many other notes still link to it, so you can see the impact before approving. See Safe delete & dangling links for more.

Whole folders, too

The assistant can also propose moving, renaming, or deleting an entire folder at once — the review card shows every note that moves (or every note inside, for a delete), any links that would be rewritten or left dangling, and the count of images and other assets that come along.
